The Aotearoa New Zealand Cluster Munition Coalition is a group
The ANZ Cluster Munition Coalition is working to ensure that the New Zealand government takes strong leadership in the “Oslo Process,” which seeks to secure a legally binding international instrument by the end of 2008 to:
1) Comprehensively prohibit cluster munitions that cause unacceptable harm to civilians;
2) Establish a framework to assist to cluster munition survivors and their communities, as well as to clear contaminated areas.
Since its establishment on 22 March 2007, the ANZ Cluster Munition Coalition has engaged in several creative actions with the assistance of a range of partners. This includes host the international civil society delegation to the February 2008 Wellington Conference on Cluster Munitions.
