Coalition
The Aotearoa New Zealand Cluster Munition Coalition(ANZCMC) is a national network
The ANZCMC is working to ensure that the New Zealand government takes strong leadership in the “Oslo Process,” which seeks to secure a legally binding international instrument by the end of 2008 to comprehensively ban cluster munitions and establishes a framework to assist to cluster munition survivors and clear contaminated areas.
Since its establishment on 22 March 2007, the ANZ Cluster Munition Coalition has engaged in several creative actions with the assistance of a range of partners. This includes hosting the global civil society delegation to the historic Wellington Conference on Cluster Munitions February 2008. To join the coalition, which meets in Wellington, please contact any member or the ANZCMC Coordinator Mary Wareham
