All participants to the Dublin conference were offered free tickets to see the Ireland vs Serbia football match at Croke Park this Saturday. After an internal campaign-wide strategy meeting earlier in the day, many of us headed to the game in which Serbia scored a goal at 75 minutes, but Ireland came back to even so the result was 1 all draw. The campaigners unfurled a huge Ban Cluster Bombs banner. It was great to see the stadium–where we have spent the week in suits lobbying–almost filled to its 80,000 seat capacity for the game.
