21 Feb 08 - The Wellington Conference is nearing its conclusion and the work of government delegates, civil society representatives and campaigners is intensifying. Today’s plenary discussions will cover the issues of i) storage and stockpile destruction, ii) international cooperation and assistance, iii) transparency and compliance and iv) national implementation.  See: Thursday’s Cluster Ban News.

Public events today are a lunchtime talk on Cluster Munitions in Lebanon and a Film Screening and talk by war photographer John Rodsted on the use of media in achieving advocacy objectives.
