18 Feb 08 - The Wellington Conference on cluster munitions kicked off this morning with elegates from more than 120 countries and 137 civil society representatives in attendance. This meeting represents a critical crossroads in the Oslo Process, as the draft treaty text from this meeting will be the basis of negotiations in Dublin in May.

The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) issued a daily update on the conference.
